LINEA INSUBRICA

An Hyperjazz foray by Khalab, Catu Diosis and Gabin Dabiré

Linea Insubrica marks the first-ever collaboration among three key artists
in the contemporary global landscape: Khalab, founder of Hyperjazz Records
and a master of Afro-electronic synthesis; Catu Diosis, the visionary of the Nyege Nyege collective and ambassador of the new generation of African producers; and the late Gabin Dabiré, the Burkinabé virtuoso of guitar and m’bira.

The result is a concentrated burst of pure energy that fuses Khalab’s
rhythmic exploration with Catu’s Afrocentric and dancefloor-oriented
approach, enriched by Gabin’s ancestral melodies. This convergence of musical souls transforms the dancefloor into a realm of sonic exploration and
transcendence, where contemporary Africa and experimental electronics
engage in perfect harmony, creating pathways towards new musical rituals
and collective euphoria.

Khalab is the sonic architect behind Hyperjazz Records and a relentless explorer
of Afro-electronic frontiers. His journey from the groundbreaking “Black Noise 2084” to the recent “Layers” reveals an artist constantly pushing boundaries, weaving ancestral rhythms into futuristic soundscapes that speak to both
dancefloors and deeper consciousness.

Catu Diosis embodies the new wave of African electronic music. Based between
Kampala and Cologne, this Nyege Nyege Collective member and founder of Dope
Gal Africa transforms every performance into a transcultural journey. From Panorama Bar to the Venice Biennale, her sets are explosive celebrations of global bass music filtered through an uncompromisingly Afrocentric lens.

Gabin Dabiré was a keeper of Burkinabé musical heritage and a bridge between
worlds. His guitar and m’bira spoke ancient languages while embracing contemporary dialogues. Through collaborations like Khalab’s “Layers,” he carried the soul of West African tradition into new territories, leaving behind a legacy of cross-cultural musical alchemy.
