Khalab is the stage name of Raffaele Costantino—radio host for RAI Radio 2 (his show Musicalbox is one of the longest-running programs on the Radio Rai schedule), author, consultant, musician and producer, music researcher and educator, cultural agitator.
Through his Afrofuturist project Khalab, he champions Black music rooted in African-American traditions, along with its countless crossovers, influences, and variations.
