VIVID COLOURS

ALBUM JACK BLOOM SPACE ECHO

“Vivid Colours” is his new musical project in collaboration with Milan-based label Space Echo (a rib of the well-known Schema Records).
A hymn to love understood as a cosmic and spiritual force that transcends all physical, cultural and temporal barriers, celebrating the union between people in a universal concept, but despite its greatness, this universal love is not without contradictions and difficulties.

Youthful couple issues emerge as an inevitable part of this quest for love: misunderstandings, betrayals, fears of not being enough or of being judged, the difficulty of finding a balance between individuality and complicity. But it is also these experiences that forge love, making it grow, enriching it, leading it to new forms of awareness.

The album skilfully weaves elements of electronic dance music with enveloping pop-flavoured vocal lines and beats that reveal a wide range of influences.

Starting with the rhythmic, enveloping sounds of house music, he pushes into the sophisticated “groove” of British R&B, touching on the refined harmonies of jazz and the raw energy of alternative rock.

Jack demonstrates an extraordinary ability to blend electronic sounds with acoustic instruments, including drums played with an organic touch, which gives the album a fluid sense of swing, making it both intriguing and mature.

The result is a work perfect both for the dancefloor, with its dynamic and pulsating charge, and for more immersive listening during daily activities, thanks to its evocative and hypnotic nature.

LYRICS

Beyond The Wall:

The dialogue Beyond The Wall wants to establish is one that encourages young people to reflect on the need to face, even if only one small step at a time, their fears. It is not about taking the big leap, but about starting to look at life from a new perspective, seeking new motivation to step outside one’s “comfort zone.”

Beyond The Wall

If you got no one to talk to

‘Bout the traffic in your mind

Put yourself in my position

Where you got nowhere to hide

Walk, walk the other way

The walls outside your usual ways

If you got no one to talk to

‘Bout the troubles of your life

*******

Vivid Colors:

Is this what you call love?

Is this what you call love?

The scars of your past

Don’t you let them scare you path

I see vivid colours when you move

I see vivid colours when you’re in the room

Is this what you call love?

(What you call… what you call… what you call…)

What They Want

You don’t know what she wants

She doesn’t give you clues

You Don’t know what she needs

Maybe some brand new shoes

So, she can walk all over you

DLYPK imagine it’s a night like any other, with the freedom of being young and enjoying a night without worries. Parents aren’t around, or at least they think you’re home sleeping peacefully. You have made sure that no one notices that you are preparing something different….

DLYPK

I’m on the wrong side of the bed, Again

Where do I find someone like yourself, Again

Oh baby, tell me how lucky did I get, In the end

The night is young and so are we

Can’t be tired for the weekend

Let’s get drunk

Let’s get high

Will be fine

Can’t let your parents know

Don’t let your parents know

The night is ours

We’ve got no ties

Can’t be stopped when we’re this alive

Lose control

Take the ride

We’ll be fine

Can’t let your parents know

Don’t let your parents know

Party’s Over addresses a sensitive but important issue: excessive drinking and drug use as a mechanism for seeking enjoyment, often as an escape from dissatisfaction or emotional difficulties. The message is aimed at those who try to “splurge” on these behaviours without realizing the devastating effects they can have, not only on physical health, but also on relationships and mental well-being.

Party’s Over

It’s cold

On the bathroom floor

This is not your home,

Yeah, I’m sure you know

This ain’t fun no more

I think it’s time to go

Who was there last night?

You went past your usual bedtime (don’t you remember?)

The blur the fight the fading light

I think you might need

To close your eyes

you need some sleep

close your eyes

the cycle of the week

Absolutely bores you…

Shut your mouth and go home!

I think you’ve done enough

you’ve knocked yourself out

so, pack your things and go home

X2

Your phone’s

on the counter cracked

guess the screen took one for you

someone cried you laughed

but you can’t recall who’s who

These days feel stretched so thin

like you’re barely holding in

the weight of what you hide

I think you need to breath tonight…

Shut your mouth and go home!

I think you’ve done enough

you’ve knocked yourself out

so, pack your things and go home

I Know You Will is a state of well-being, therefore, it becomes a moment of inner harmony that not only allows us to live at peace with ourselves, but also to share it with others. The eyes, as the mirror of the soul, become the medium for conveying kindness, empathy and love. Well-being is reflected in the looks, in the ability to connect with others without the need for words, communicating a calmness and positivity that can be felt by those around us.

I Know You Will

Those eyes can give you a million reasons

To give it all up for love

You don’t know how happy you make me

You don’t know how happy you make me

But I know you will

‘cause i know you well

I know you well

Sweet Sweet Dreams compares a troubled couple’s relationship to a bumpy road, where two people, although bound by similar feelings and desires, are constantly coming up against their differences. “Sweet Dreams,” in this context, becomes a metaphor for something that seems like a distant dream, an ideal of happiness and serenity that is desired but seems difficult to grasp. It is a vision of a perfect love, but one that never fully materializes, remaining an unfulfilled promise, an unfulfilled desire.

Sweet Sweet Dreams

I fall into pieces

When we kiss

Why don’t you believe me

When I speak

Just give me a reason

To forgive…

My sweet sweet dreams

My sweet sweet dreams

My sweet sweet dreams

Your lies leave me broken

When we talk

I’m lost in the silence

Of your thoughts

Just give me the courage

To move on

From my sweet sweet dreams

You have me doubting

what I know

It took me so long to let it go

Now i want back what I lost

Oh my sweet sweet dreams

*******

Take It Easy:

Take it easy,

Why do you call my name?

When I need more space

Don’t you pull me down

*******

Let Me Be

Are you sure

that it’s me that you need?

I won’t be there to pick up the pieces

Of the mess you made

I couldn’t be there

I don’t know what you mean yeah
