In addition to its digital and LP releases, “Sacred Love” will also be available as a 7″ vinyl (45 rpm) in two unique versions. This Afro-American-inspired track opens Side A (Logo Side) with a hypnotic jazz interpretation driven by a Tony Allen-style afrobeat rhythm.
The soulful vocals of Giulia La Rosa, who also penned the lyrics, recall the raw, timeless energy of Nina Simone’s “See-Line Woman.”
Side B (This Side) features a stripped-down ‘Clapping Version’—a percussive take that removes the drums, offering DJs greater freedom to experiment and blend it with other grooves across genres.
“Sacred Love” also serves as the title track of Galathea’s upcoming album, due out in January 2024. The new project from Massimo Napoli reunites him with longtime collaborator Salvo Dub (producer and bassist), and features an impressive ensemble: vocalist Kadi Koulibaly from Burkina Faso—already known to fans from the debut album—jazz pianist Mario Pappalardo, percussionist Sergio Spitaleri, and drummer Luciano Cantone.
With its fusion of afrobeat, jazz, and soulful expression, Sacred Love promises to be a standout release for those who appreciate rhythm, roots, and refined musical craftsmanship.
