Luca Javier Bologna is a hip hop, neo-soul, funk, and gospel bass player, born in Nardò (LE), Italy, in 1985.

He studied at the Milan Conservatory and works as both a studio musician and live performer.

Luca began his career in the early 2000s with the rap metal band Mellowtoy, touring across Europe alongside acts such as Sepultura, Alter Bridge, Ill Niño, Disturbed, Morbid Angel, Stone Sour, and others.

He was a member of the Italian all-star band Rezophonic, collaborating with artists like Mario Riso, Caparezza, Roy Paci, Africa Unite, Enrico Ruggeri, and more.

Active in Milan’s emerging alternative jazz, soul, and hip hop scene, Luca contributes as a bassist, arranger, composer, and musical director. He has collaborated with numerous Italian rap legends including Sottotono, Ernia, Nitro, Ensi, Inoki, Vacca, Mistaman, Shokka, and many others.

He also performs with the European gospel group Gospel Voices Family.

In 2020, under the pseudonym Kidd Mojo, he released his debut solo album Dyonisia on the acclaimed alternative jazz label Hyperjazz Records, featuring Grammy-nominated artist Georgia Anne Muldrow from Los Angeles.

Luca has also worked with the legendary Brooklyn hip hop duo Dead Prez and toured with iconic NYC rapper Cormega, a member of the American hip hop supergroup The Firm alongside Nas, AZ, Foxy Brown, and Nature.
